What if your life story, meaning both the conscious and unconscious parts, contains all the answers on how to heal what is troubling you ? What if it's the teacher you've been searching for all along ?
What if fear, and the shame accompanying that fear, is what's really holding you back from healing ? What would it take to dissolve that ?
Is it possible to have "exalted" bones ? It most certainly is. Here are four simple steps you can take to exalt your bones : 1. Exercise. It's well-known that athletes' bones become thicker and stronger than people who don't exercise or do physical work. 2. Exercise with your bones properly aligned. This way, the forces of gravity, motion etc. will go through the centre of your bones causing less wear and tear, and also energizing your bones due to the increased amount of force passing undistorted through them. 3. Eat less refined sugar. The refinement of sugar canes strips them of around 40 vital nutrients, leaving the white sugar with nothing else than empty calories. In our intestinal system, the white sugar is broken down into fructose (that is passed on to the liver) and glucose (that is absorbed quickly in the bloodstream). Glucose is used to produce the energy molecule, ATP. This requires a number of enzyme processes that depend on B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, and other minerals. However, as white sugar is refined (stripped of it's nutrients), the body must collect vitamins and minerals from other parts of the body. The bones serve as primary mineral collection sites for this operation. 4. Retention of seminal fluid. Muhammad Ali would not ejaculate for 6 weeks before a fight. He wrote in his autobiography that his bones would then feel hard and strong. P.S There's a connection between bone marrow and the production of seminal fluid. Just sayin..... I read somewhere that Steve Jobs liked to use the expression "firing bozos." We can apply this to our health. Here are some bozos we can fire to help our health ;
1. My health condition depends almost exclusively on what I eat, on exercise, and on stress levels. 2. Hard muscles, six-packs etc = long term health, strength and vitality 3. Physics has nothing to do with the human body 4. Thoughts/feelings have nothing to do with the body 5. Once I reach my mid-thirties it's all downhill regarding health, strength & vitality 6. There's no such thing as "chi" energy (despite the Chinese being among the most practical people on the planet). 7. In order to stay healthy I musn't consume any sugar, alcohol or caffeine. I wrote in an earlier post that the dantian (or "tanden" in Japanese), which is our center of gravity, is perhaps the most condensed point in a person. According to Michio Kushi, humans are the most condensed "spirals" in the universe, so it follows that the dantian is the most condensed point in the universe.
Is there any way to back this claim up, and does it have any bearing on our lives ? Well, according to the late Herman Aihara, blood plasma is formed in the wall of the small intestine in the area of the dantian. Mr.Aihara goes on to explain that blood plasma is the most "yang" (meaning condensed) part of man, with a potassium to sodium ratio of 1:10 - 1:16. He also says that when the blood plasma has been formed then humans are ready to begin their spiritual development or evolution. (Red blood cells are formed from the plasma, and body cells are formed from red blood cells that acquire DNA). We are able to live in a human body and develop in the area of mentality or spirituality. From the above information we can start to get a glimmer of why the ancients of the Far East placed such emphasis on the dantian in various artistic/physical disciplines and spiritual practices. What is real muscle power ? Is it the ability to bench-press 'x' amount of weight a thousand times ?
Or could it be the fact that our muscles allow us to manifest our wishes, our intentions ? For example, can you workout by just staring at the weights ? Can you sing a song by simply staring at the lyric sheet ? Can you walk by looking at your feet ? Instead of focusing on how much weight you can lift, or how good you think your six-pack looks, why not try giving your muscular system some appreciation for its instant compliance with your desire to lift those weights, to do those sit-ups, to sing that song etc ? We can also remind ourselves that our muscular system allows us to exist in a body. Can we eat and digest food without it ? Can we breathe without it ? Try imagining how you'd feel if your muscles refused to respond to your requests. It has been said that the perfect love of the Creator resides in the center of everyone's being. With this in mind I have been developing a daily practice that I'd like to share with you.
When you catch yourself thinking destructive thoughts about whoever then try to remind yourself that the perfect love of the Creator does, indeed, reside in the center of that person's being......whether they know it or not. And that being in their center loves you with all its heart. Forever. Lets remember that healing is really an act of love. What else could it be ? This practice is, for sure, much easier said than done. Especially when you're confronted with challenging situations. I wish you good luck ! |
